We don’t take guest posts from marketers or SEO companies. Please don’t send us articles written by computers. We only want real stories from actual people. If you just want to drop a link to sell a product, we will delete the email right away.

No. We don’t pay money for these stories. This is simply a fun, free way to show off your pet to the world. If you are looking for a paid freelance writing gig, please don’t send a story here.
How to Prepare Your Story
Please read this quick checklist before you hit send. We really want your pet to shine!
Write a good story
Take your time and pack it with fun details. A great story is usually between 1200 and 1,500 words. You can totally write more than that if you want!
Keep it 100% real
Tell it in your own words. Please don’t use AI. Don’t copy and paste text from other websites. We just want to hear your real voice.
Use a document
Please attach a Word document or send a Google Doc link. Typing a massive story right into the email box makes it super hard for us to read.
Send your own photos
Attach 3 to 5 clear pictures that you actually took yourself. No internet stock photos, please. Add a quick note to each picture so we know what is going on.
Title and summary
Pick a fun title that stays under 60 characters. Write a quick 1 or 2-sentence summary at the top. That helps us know what the story is about.
About you (and your link)
Put a short bio at the very end so we can learn a bit about you. You can drop exactly one link to your pet’s Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook page in this section. To prevent spam, we don’t allow any links inside the main story.
Your profile picture
Make sure the email you use connects to a Gravatar account with your real photo. We really want to show your smiling face next to your bio!
Small edits
We might fix a tiny typo or break up a really long paragraph. We might also tweak the title just a bit so it looks great on our site.
Give us some time
We read every single story that comes in. Just please give us 48 to 72 hours to reply to your email.
Picture Permission
When you email us pet photos, you are giving us full permission to post them on our website. Just make sure you took the photos yourself. Don’t send Google images or pictures that belong to someone else.
What Happens Next
We read every single message. If we pick your story for the blog, we will reply and let you know! Like we said, we might fix a tiny typo, but we will always keep the story in your own words.
